Head of Payments

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in a Head of Payments role focused on running and managing business fiat operations, establishing and nurturing relationships with banks and payment institutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations and payments, cultivating partnerships within the financial sector, particularly in high-risk business environments.

Relationship management with banking, payments, and FX partners and constant search and widening of respective network for Operations purposes:

• Managing and optimizing interactions with banking, payments and FX partners for Operations purposes.
• Searching for new Operations partners and providers via all available channels.
• Ownership of the respective Operations expenditure in Group Budget (e.g. bank fees), with the aim to optimisation and reduction of costs.

Design and oversee customers' fiat settlement processes:

• Own fiat customers' settlement procedures and internal services.
• Establishing new flows and settlement routes that would meet customers’ needs.

Design and oversee client fiat funds management including rebalancing of segregated fiat accounts and safeguarding:

• Own client fiat funds management procedures (e.g. rebalancing, storage, safeguarding).
• Be the owner of respective internal platforms and micro-services.

Creation and development of Fiat Operations guides and registers.

• Proven track record in operations / payments, and business development or relationship management within the financial sector, with a focus on banking or payment services.
• Distributed teams management and development.
• Deep understanding of banking and payment regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the cryptocurrency industry is a plus.
