Product Owner / Head of Product

We are looking for a Product Owner / Head of Product to define, build, and scale a payments platform, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and market needs.

This role covers both the client-facing experience — onboarding, portals, APIs, merchant and end-user touchpoints – and the underlying IT platform services. You will work closely with leadership, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to drive product delivery across multiple hubs and jurisdictions.

Product Strategy & Delivery

• Own the product roadmap end-to-end: discovery, prioritization, delivery, and launch
• Drive product development initiatives that support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation across the Group
• Partner with the Director, General Manager, and executive team on strategic planning and prioritization of the product portfolio
• Track delivery cadence and ensure smooth, well-coordinated launches across hubs
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, and business teams to align priorities and execution
• Take ownership of product outcomes, including delivery risks, operational impact, and product performance

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

• Translate regulatory frameworks into concrete product requirements, acceptance criteria, and non-functional specifications
• Work with requirements related to MiCA, EMI (EMD2/PSD2), CASP/VASP, and DORA
• Present product solutions to hub leadership for evaluation against local regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with hub IT governance teams and support operational resilience and compliance initiatives
• Support the General Manager on outsourcing governance, DORA oversight, and operational resilience testing

• 5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or crypto startups
• Proven track record of launching financial products end-to-end
• Experience working in compliance-driven environments (EMI, VASP, MiCA, PSD2)
• Strong understanding of payment systems and transaction flows
• Experience delivering products in technical environments
• API and system architecture literacy
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align engineering, compliance, and business teams
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build from scratch
• Structured thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into clear, logical components
• Strong ownership and accountability for product outcomes
• High attention to detail and strong risk awareness
• Fluent English; Russian is a plus
